We hope this post finds you well! We continue to track for the next CD. There are a lot of influences that are emerging with the songs. Some may be pretty obvious if you know us well and some are a bit subtle.
As we reflect upon the lyrics we can see themes emerging. We address loss, time, new beginnings, and leaving worries behind.
It’s really a pleasure to take the songs and collectively “grow them” in the recording process. We look forward to playing these songs for you down the road.

We are excited to announce a new show! We will be playing the post parade party in Dixon, IL on 3/12!
The parade begins at 3pm. It runs through the downtown and ends at the Knights of Columbus Hall (506 W. 3rd Street). Raffles, Auction, Food, Music and more!! Music will start following the parade (after 5pm)!

Phase 1: Choose your song.
They’re all classics we love! Choose one of the following that will showcase your fabulous singing in front of a live audience.
Phase 2: Submit your song.
Go to our Facebook page, Like the band and submit either a video or audio clip of you singing your chosen song.
Important: In order to qualify for the contest, your submission must not exceed one minute. One entry per person.
Phase 3: Perform your song.
Up to five finalists will be announced by the band on Wed., Feb. 24. If you’re selected, we’ll also contact you directly with details on the final competition, which will be held on St. Patrick’s Day at Anodyne Coffee:https://anodynecoffee.com/
Phase 4: Bring it on St. Patrick’s Day!
The Gleasons are partnering with Anodyne Coffee on St. Patrick’s Day for an all-ages show at it’s beautiful location at 224 W. Bruce St. in Walker’s Point, Milwaukee. The band will take the stage at 8 p.m. At approximately 9:30 p.m., each finalist will be announced by name and join the band to sing their song in its entirety…and then bask in the glory of applause and cheers.
After each finalist has performed, a winner will be selected based on audience response, with The Gleasons serving as the tie-breaker, if needed.

Phase 5: Wow the Irish Fest crowds!
The winner of the St. Patrick’s Day competition will be contacted by the band prior to Irish Fest on Aug. 18-21 with specifics regarding their performance at the festival.

Please join us Saturday, February 6th at Shank Hall! We will be opening for Substitute: Tales From The Who.
Substitute will be playing the songs of one of the greatest rock n roll bands of all time, The Who! The show begins at 8pm.

We have been rehearsing and tweaking the songs for the new CD! We will be having some special guests play on it.
