Have you always wanted to take center stage at Irish Fest? This is your chance! The Gleasons are hosting a contest for a singer who will join the band on stage at Irish Fest, the world\u2019s largest Irish festival, in August. The winner will be backed by The Gleasons as they sing one of these three classics: Danny Boy, Molly Malone or Galway Girl.The competition is open to anyone ages 10 and up, and consists of five simple phases:<\/p>\n

Phase 1: Choose your song.
\nThey\u2019re all classics we love! Choose one of the following that will showcase your fabulous singing in front of a live audience.<\/p>\n

Danny Boy

Phase 2: Submit your song.
\nGo to our Facebook page, Like the band and submit either a video or audio clip of you singing your chosen song.
\nImportant: In order to qualify for the contest, your submission must not exceed one minute. One entry per person.<\/p>\n

Phase 3: Perform your song.
\nUp to five finalists will be announced by the band on Wed., Feb. 24. If you\u2019re selected, we\u2019ll also contact you directly with details on the final competition, which will be held on St. Patrick\u2019s Day at Anodyne Coffee:https:\/\/anodynecoffee.com\/shop\/shop\/gleasons\/<\/a><\/p>\n

Phase 4: Bring it on St. Patrick\u2019s Day!
\nThe Gleasons are partnering with Anodyne Coffee on St. Patrick\u2019s Day for an all-ages show at it’s beautiful location at 224 W. Bruce St. in Walker\u2019s Point, Milwaukee. The band will take the stage at 8 p.m. At approximately 9:30 p.m., each finalist will be announced by name and join the band to sing their song in its entirety\u2026and then bask in the glory of applause and cheers.<\/p>\n

After each finalist has performed, a winner will be selected based on audience response, with The Gleasons serving as the tie-breaker, if needed.<\/p>\n

Phase 5: Wow the Irish Fest crowds!
\nThe winner of the St. Patrick\u2019s Day competition will be contacted by the band prior to Irish Fest on Aug. 18-21 with specifics regarding their performance at the festival.<\/p>\n
